    SWANSBORO | The Onslow County Amateur Radio Club took part in the annual Field Day this weekend at the Swansboro Soccer Club, but the action was not on the pitch.

    Instead, members of the club sat in the clubhouse next to their radios, trying to make contact with as many of their fellow ham radio operators as possible within a 24-hour period.
