I feel as though I'm working less hours now than I did in my previous jobs and I'm experiencing a lot less stress. I would be hard pressed to find a job that would pay me more to start than what I make now. I'm not happy I have the GPS bullshit to deal with, but I ain't upset enough to quit. Luv Ya Man!

I understand. I guess I'm just pissed that they don't trust me enough to manage my on area. All this micro management is what is so bad. And its only going to get worse. I have a thing called pride and it has been stripped away from me. Its good you love your job with USIC, but I do not. It could be my district and managers, but I see nothing good in the future for USIC. 10 good years of locating, 6 months with USIC to make me leave this trade for good.

I would have to say that the answer depends on which state/district you are from. Some districts plan out suck ass and others are a dream to work for.

Based on what I have heard in my area, we will be losing a few people over this whole "merger" where we are considered 2 different companies but we have to follow USIC's corporate BS and policies. I for one do not like USIC and will be one of those leaving as soon as I can and I bet ya in a couple of years they tank and go under, thats my wishful thinking anyway.

I have been working in the field for about 6 years and have had the displeasure of working for USIC. The information regarding health insurance is so vague at points, that you think you are doing what is right for your family, but in the end the only person this is benefitting is the company. Oh, and Mellon bank. What they did not tell you was that there was a surcharge in place with your HSA account which the company does not pay. If you do not touch the money in there, it will eventually trickle down until YOU owe the bank.
Just another way this company wants to keep you paying out, so they can reap the rewards of your hard work.
