hmmm.... a backhoe?
Why does a round pizza come in a square box?
Cut my teeth on the Metro Tech 810, have used several models of Metro Techas well as Rycom
, Dynatel and RD
but I have the most trust and like the sound of the Subsite
.
It all depends on the type of locate![]()
Does anyone know what a Rigid is? I just picked that one because no one else did.
If you are not a Liberal by age 20, then you do not have a heart! If you are not a Conservative by age 40, then you do not have a brain!!!
Your supposed to vote for what you like to use best. Here's one of Rigid's models.

Honestly.......Pipe Horn 800 has been real good to me but I am in a area with alot of poles and concrete not much grass in the city or pedestals lots of water meters and fire hydrants though![]()
I guess I'm the only Rycom guy on here. It's amazing at the variety of machines everyone uses. I guess for the most part it just depends on what our companies buy. I know we don't get to choose, we just get what we are handed.
Started with an RD433 got downgraded to a 400 which I loved. Then I got the Rycom, and can't imagine using anything else.
RD8000.... well not really, but just noticed on the RD website that there is a new one coming out.
It looks like the RD is the most used by the "viners". I just hope everyone is not using the RD4000. I love the radio mode but that thing is just way to heavy. We do 4-7 way locates up here and I can't imagine swinging that thing all day long.
I use it all day long. I also have come to like the Pipe Horn for street lights.
