    Default Sonde info

    I need to get a sonde but not sure what frequency to get, want to locate plastic conduit 50mm to 100mm say 2meters to 0.3 meters deep often boarded not dug I have a ridgit sr-24 locator

    512 Hz is the most common for almost everything except Ductile steel pipe but at those depths it would still be fine.

    Brehaut, Cuda is right with the 512sonde, the biggest concern should be how you are getting that sonde into the conduit and the distances between access points. That will help you choose the design of the sonde. The frequency is the easy part
