    hi is there any software that can take a satellite image and make a map by selecting colours or points or anything so?

    Google Earth.

    It's free, and if by "make map" you mean driving directions or measuring distances with a digital ruler, than yeah it can do that. Very handy to have on your truck laptop to find address that your street atlas can't for some reason.
