    Default RD400PDL2 user settings ??

I bought an old ebay RD400PDL as a backup to my RD4000PXL, Nice , Think I'll probably find myself using it more than the 4000 , quite a bit lighter too !!

Anyone know how to get into the menu ??
I want to change depth from inches to millileters

Been a while but try holding down the shift button and then depressing the depth button.

    thanks ihoby,

that did not work, but I found the answer, I'll paste it here incase somone else needs to know

1 hold down the line sonde button then turn the unit on keep holding down
the line sonde until the screen shows a gb that is the language setting hit
the f button that will accept the language the next screen will be current
hit the up and down arrow until it hits DB hit the f button next screen will
be measurements hit arrow button until you see cm hit the f button next
screen will be 50 60 hit the f button until you see 50 cycle hit the f
button next screen will be passive on or off leave it on then hit the f
button unit should shut of then turn it back on and see if it took all the
settings, if you screw it up start all over!
