I attached a short piece of wire to one of those clips and the 3 way spliced it onto my red lead. I now have the choice of using m regular clip or the alligator clip.

I had thought about that but never got to it, maybe I wouldn't be BUYING them if I hadn't lost all I was given!!

Those new little $5 flashlights are awesome for looking inside comm boxes. I keep one in my pocket 24/7. Also, take your lead wires off and replace the tiny bolts with a butterfly bolt. You can fix a faulty lead connection in less than a minute.
