    You can't go wrong hiring a Vet. with a como m.o.s. plus there is a tax credit for veteran employment.

    This really is the million dollar question isn't it? Employers have been trying to figure this out since the beginning of time and no one has found the answer yet because there is no true formula that is perfect because we humans have too many variables. What holds true for one doesn't hold true to all therefore making it very hard to find a fool proof answer. Another thing that makes it very difficult is our ability to act, or lie in other words, suprisingly many people are extremely talented in this area.

    I usally ask them if there freakin crazy and why do you want to put yourself in danger everyday. If they say yes to both. Then they are probably lying to one. Do you really want to dodge cars, speak to angry contractors, climb mountains, evade dogs, irate homeowners, ect..

    I don't think there is a right answer. We hired a guy who was in his late 50s and had been an OSP manager with AT&T. Turned out to be a crack addict and was stealing copper from our warehouse. Then we hired a retired bell guy. He spent most of his time at a diner and quit within a year. I think it has a lot to do with the coast. We are slow in the winter and swamped every summer...

    that is awesome i wish i had you as my interviewer man i would piss my pants
    no doubt i wouldnt get the job
    but man it would be a good one to tell the guys down the pub
