Sounds like someone is trying to keep track of someone....a wife maybe? I would find a forum on the internet specifically geared to the manufacturer of the phone you are trying to track. I use a Blackberry forum for my problems and questions.

Aren't there computer programs specifically for this type thing?

lol nope, not married, i am trying to find a solution that could possibly fit all phones and all platforms, that's why i rather the open source.
