    Default C.A.T. by Radio Detection

Does anyone have one of the newer models of the CAT? I see they went digital now. I know you'd never want to locate with a CAT fulltime but for finding them untoneable electric lines it is great. I can't seem to find a price for one of them anywhere online. Here's the brochure.

I have used the CAT3 for the last 2 years and it works well. I got it for $800, only purchased the receiver since I had an old RD 400 trans. We do a lot of private facility location work and it is a great way to do an additional sweep. I also use it for scoping SUE projects to get an idea of what is in an area. Not something I would use by itself but it has definitely helped me on several projects.
