    Default ST510 Question

Is the ST510 even worth a second look after having the ST33Q?

The major difference between the two transmitters is the ST-33Q's inductive antenna, which produces a much higher output. If you don't do a lot of inductive locates the ST-510 is worth a look. You can find info. and specs on both units here: Equipment - RIDGID Professional Tools

I know this is old but now I have had time to use the 33q and yes it is a different kind of animal only going to 33 on inductive and yes the design makes that good enough most of the time so it gets used the most but every now and then I need the higher freq to light something up and out comes the 510. I also like the 510 better for two person sweeps.
