    Default Upgrade

I had the website host upgrade to the latest version of vBulletin. Since the upgrade there are some issues with the CSS. It is noticeable in the navbar links above. I am trying to get it taken care of.

    Thanks
    Steve

Cost of a brand spankin new chat box (installed) is probably north of $500.00. Maybe.

Thanks Steve - it really does show you care about the community and the members that call this place home. You aren't one of those Admins that just "set it and forget it". All on your nickel, too.

    Thank you.

    My pleasure, Mark.

Next is a new classifieds section. I'm having trouble getting it going so tomorrow (Monday) the people who produced the plugin are going to set it up for me. I'm excited to see that get started.

    BTW... this chatbox is free.

all right! That's it !!! Why does Yahoo get the chatbox award and not me? I should get an award too. Hell, we all should get an award. Not getting an award gives us esteem issues. Anxiety. It is well documented in the chat box that I too very specifically requested a chatbox award. Nothing. All I got was crickets. I will not tolerate this intolerance. I plan on contacting the Equal Opportunity Commission first thing tomorrow and reporting you, Steve, for showing prejudice, favoritism, and discrimination. Good day, sir !!!

And you Yahoo !! You really let me down man. Sucking up to the Big Guy like that. How dare you show initiative and go the extra mile like that! Leaving the rest of us to wallow in our mediocrity. You hurt our feelings rising above the pack with your work ethic and excellence. You should dumb yourself down for the sake of our feelings. Really man? Really??? Very disappointed in you, man. Very disappointed.

Yahoo is from Louisiana and I'm hoping to get down that way someday and get me some authentic Louisiana Gumbo. Locals know where the best of the best is. I gotta show the favoritism. Not to mention some Cajun Shrimp.

I've been checking the website that I purchased this theme from and they are silent on updating the theme to work with the newest version of vBulletin. I'm getting annoyed.

The classified thing isn't working, either. They said it has something to do with the theme. I'm pissed about that, also.

And, I notice many of the smilies aren't working either. That ticked me off, too.

I'm really thinking the thing to do is to use the stock theme that comes with vBulletin. Everything works with that theme and it should give us a better experience. I prefer to have a custom theme but when the developers don't upgrade, then what good is a custom theme. Plus, the stock theme is free.

    Feedback please.

    Thanks
    Steve

I've been doing some more reading over at the forum, and people are complaining about purchasing themes and not receiving a download link. And, they are flat out calling the site a rip-off. I think I'll consider this theme now defunct.

I've switched back to the stock theme. Sorry about that but it had to be done.

The smilies still don't work so I'll need to get those in order.

    Thanks for you patience.

Smilies will come back, I just need to get on it. I'm home for lunch at the moment, but I've been busy as a bee. Monday... 75 tickets completed, Tuesday... 68 tickets completed. I'm running my ass off.
