    Default "Thread-" terminology

Okay, I have a serious question here.

A THREAD HIJACKER is what? My best guess - someone who steers the thread off-topic.

So a THREAD KILLER is ~? Someone whose username you'll usually see as the last person who posted on a thread, right?

If you're a thread killer is that mostly because the thread has been talked-out, picked apart and ended - you are the lucky one who had the last post? Or is it that when other users hop on and see you get involved in a thread they groan and try to ignore you? Like, "Oh boy, that guy is a big PIA. Why don't we continue this conversation somewhere else?"

Just wondering because I see a lot of that happen... usually some pesty user wears out the welcome too quick and gets a tomato thrown at him for one reason or other. Others, well, maybe they get on a topic too late to offer much input.

A thread hijacker, from what I understand, is just what you described.

A thread killer... not sure about that one but in the end someone has to make the last post. Threads don't go on forever.

I would suppose a thread killer is like the guy at the meet site that when he walks up to a group they all quit talking at the same time.

I guess... I asked this because sometimes I do feel like that guy who mysteriously makes everyone shut up! Of course, Steve is right because obviously threads have to end sometime.

Oh well, better commenting late than never. I just don't want to be thought of as "Mr Know-it-all" always poking my comments in / talking out my @$$.

On that note - go ahead and kill this one off, Hurricane9!!!
