UTA doesn't publish the magazine. We are however dedicated to supporting and promoting it as it grows into a great continuing educational resource for all stakeholders in the damage prevention industry.

Pages 30-31 would have been an excellent place for a plug. Can't really talk about social media and utility locating without mentioning thecablevine. Maybe next time.

I liked the 5 tips for successful locating as well. These aren't something that most guys would consider but will make a difference.

I really liked the "dress appropriately" one. This can go a long way in earning some of that well deserved respect and credibility from contractors and customers. Who's going to promote some bum wearing jeans with holes in them or t-shirts with the sleeves torn off?

I tell my boss that we should wear uniforms. I keep recommending the jump suit with the sewn in belt that latches on the front... right at the belly button. He keeps saying no.
