My most recent screw up.

I'm warning you guys, you need to find somebody else to run this place.

I just found out TODAY that activation e-mails haven't been going out for 3 months. That means when somebody signs up for an account they are then sent an e-mail with a link in it to activate their account. This hasn't been happening.

Apparently, when they upgraded the site it turned off the e-mail function. I don't know how or why, but it did. So, if you have been wondering why there have been no new people signing up, that is why.

I corrected the e-mail problem and resent the activation e-mail to everyone that has been waiting for it. So, if you are still waiting for it and didn't get it, please request that it be resent through the login page. if that doesn't work then please get a hold of me through the contact link at the bottom of the page... which wasn't working either I might add. It works now.

It is hard enough running a route all day, and taking care of all of the other things I have to do. If I had to run a website, I would blow a gasket in no time!

Sweet... Hopefully I have all the bugs worked out.

I just want to emphasize something. I know it isn't everyone's job to point out things that are odd or are not working etc... but it is a huge help if you could just throw me a PM if you notice something that isn't working that used to work. Or, just anything that you are concerned about.

I actually feel a little nauseous when I think about people not being able to finish their registration for the last 3 months.

Steve, I got a message last nite on FB from someone trying to get signed up. I sent him back to his e-mail to check for the registration e-mail. He did get back to me and tell me everything is good now. Just an FYI.

Good. I'm glad about that.

I thought the forum was dying and people just didn't want to come to it anymore. Notice all the new activity since the email is now enabled? Freekin' amazing how that works.
