    Default CIG (at&t contract locator) loses contract

    another one bites the dust in Louisiana and several other states down south ! Companies are coming in underbidding these contracts and then can only keep them for maybe 1 year before they either go bankrupt or get throwed out of the state like S and N did .....

    Plus if I recall right in Carolina AT&T just deducted the cost of a damage from the next month's payment to thew locating firm. This was before determination of who was at fault. Once it was determined that the excavator was at fault AT&T was not interested in hunting down the excavator and taking them to court for damages. Put the locate company in the awkward position of suing their employer.
