    Smile Flag Carrier

Best way to carry your flags is to get a piece of 1 to 2 inch pcv pipe about 18" long, tape it to your paint stick and there you have an instant and cheap flag carrier. I can't believe anyone carries their flags any other way but I have seen many a locator with flags sticking out of belts ,pockets and other places. First tip that I give a newb and the most welcome!

That's one way to do it, but the stick keeps getting heavier especially if you tape two or more together.

Another option is to stop at a sporting goods store and buy an arrow quiver and carry you flags in it.

I use 3/4" gas service pipe. It's all over new construction, and it's free! Best time to find pieces are a day or 2 after you do the locate for a service install.
I've also taped heavy gauge wire to one piece in a loop so that I can hang extra flags from my belt/pocket when I have a long stretch.

I use Verizon splice cover. I asked a VZ tech and he gave me several. Turn them upside down and tape it to your stick. I have one on each stick and they will hold a couple hundred flags.

I clench them in my teeth and I spit them into the dirt as needed. Just kidding.

Someone used to advertise a safety vest on here a while back that had pockets in the back specially designed for carrying flags.
