I mean, don't get me wrong. I don't mind what I do, protecting high profile phonelines makes me feel like a contributing taxpayer and I'm happy with my profession, as it's a constant learning process about utility infastructure and etc; but...enjoy it?

I did my job with confidence, tried to be the go-to guy. Other locators called me for advice when they had a question. I ENJOYED the feeling of importance, and now I ENJOY the feeling that the company will always have a place for me if I want to go back.

... Because I agree with Scap. If you wouldn't do it in your off-time, then it's just a JOB.
