    Default Usic vehicle idle restrictions

Has anyone seen a written, official version of the Idle Time Restrictions? If you have a copy of this , please post it here.
I might not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was !

I've never seen anything written but was wondering if they are less strict with idle times in very warm states in the heat of the summer. We were up to 90 for the last 2 days but that is about as hot as it gets here.

Utiliquest has a similar policy where we are told to shut off our trucks when we get out. I guess it makes since so people dont steal them and with gas being $4 a gallon but it is hot between job sites whens it 95 degres out side.

I don't know that there is one. Last I checked there was a very outdated version of the employee handbook available online, so tracking down anything regarding idle time or gps might be a bit tricky.

You won't find one. It is impossible to contest a policy in court if there are no written copies of the policy, it protects USIC from wrongful discharge suits.

But that's why you have so many supervisors and DM's making up their own policies, because there's nothing in writing.
