    Default AT&T In Atlanta?

I ran across a locator a few days ago that told me AT&T had signed on with a new locate company and that his company had lost it. Said he didn't have any details but that all they (his company) had now was the Georgia Power contract.

Anyone else know anything about this? If it is true that would be a major change in direction for AT&T to go in seeing that they have been with the same locate company for a long time.

Not sure, but I think they were bidding on Atlanta Gas. Not sure who has that now. I do know that AGL used to be a tough customer to deal with. Very demanding and very unreasonable. But now that AGL is owned by Nicor out of Chicago, USIC probably wont have much of a problem with them.

Knowing USIC, they will tell AGL how they want to do it, and ignore the utilities demands.
