    Default heard today g4s lost com ed fiber contract.

    talked to a buddy over at usic today and he told me that g4s lost or is loing the com ed fiber contract? yes they have fiber lots of it. who took it over? im pretty sure g4s aka adesta actually installed it back in the day. so who took it or is taking it? anyone know?

    It is used to monitor their substations. A lot of the time they run them through their rows, but i havecame across of it a few times along hwy

    It's all over the place, in their service area ( Northern IL). Some of it is easy as pie, but some of it is in really hairy areas. ROW's, busy highways, etc. You can bet your ass that the world's bestest has been chomping at the bit to nail that contract. And if they get it, they'll expect everyone to "shoehorn" the additional work/ responsibility into their daily grind.

    Yup. A buddy of mine lives in southern connecticut and works for On Target. They just got the Cox Cable contract and just piled it on top of thier guys and said "Do more work per ticket now, keeping the same amount of tickets per hour, for the same wage."
