Does anyone know anything about consolidated utility services in Tampa FL.

What utilitys they locate etc....

They locate for Verizon only at the moment, maybe others someday.

Work for Consolidated out of Greensboro NC. Not sure what you guys locate down in FL, but here its Duke, Piedmont Natural Gas, and AT&T. The office in Kernersville NC serves as a ticket redirect to you guys in the field down there.

Not in northern part of North Carolina. CUS has the AT&T contracts and we just picked up Statesville area out west and some area out east around Raleign/Durham area.

From what I am hearing looks like you'll only be locating Duke and Piedmont come sometime soon. Thought I'd give you a heads up on that.

Hey foxtrot your company picked up all Verizon locates in North and South Carolina. The area out west past Statesville is From Balsam NC to Murphy NC, six counties. I know this cause I was the Verizon locate tech who was RIF'ed in favor of your company contract. But figured I would just let you know about the western part of the state you refered to. We just renewed all our AT&T contracts Sling'n, so it will be at least 3 years before those contracts expire. We lost the Duke contract to Utiliquest due to a slight under bid. They picked up all Duke in NC.

Hey fox great you guys are staying busy and you say utiliquest got all of duke in NC. I know Sumter Utilities did do all of Dukes locates here in the Mtns. I'll have to call my buddies at Sumter to make sure they didn't lose their jobs. Cause I do know that Utiliquest got the Cable TV tkts here in the Mtns right before Verizon let us all go so they might have picked all the Duke work also

Yeah company policy dictates we manifest, offset, and picture everything. In the future that manifest and the measurements will save you when a contractor trys to be a cowboy. With Duke in the mtns, not sure, but the way I heard it, Duke power was looking for just one locating company for the entire North Carolina Duke Area and Utiliquest underbidded us just barely and were talking the nickel and dime range.
