It requires patience and understanding on everybodies part. I was Separated twice from my wife from travelling too much.

It comes down to one thing $$$$$$$. Plus who doesn't like coming home to a wife that missed you and teenages that did not even know that I was even gone. With me traveling all the time it makes my marriage work. I love my wife but to much of a good thing is bad.

This is the whole reason I've never traveled. I don't see my family much the way it is, if I worked out of town I'd really never see them.

It works well for hubby and myself as he also travels ALOT. As a matter of fact, he is still in LA. I don't get out of state much anymore but lately have been travelling in state for the past 4 - 5 weeks. I get home on the weekends. My kids are much older now.. (youngest is 17)... so this works pretty good. However, 5 years ago this wouldn't have been as easy to do. And yes, as far as marriage goes... we really cherish the time we have together... kinda like honeymooning everytime we do get to be together!
