    Yes they do, but it is a matter of presentation.


    Unless those reports you mentioned are integrated into the other reports read by those that make the decisions about staffing they may as well not exist.

    The decision about staffing is made well above the manager's level. These managers only carry out the orders given them by those above them.

    At the level that these decisions are made the reports used to make the decisions and only the one's the bean counters are sent to the upper management. The bean counters know how to count beans, the don't know squat about locating.

    Federal for sure. Amend the current One Call laws. But who's gonna push it through. The locate companies or the utilities? It's of no value to them.

    No more CLS wish there was no USIC and SM&P. Senior Locators at USIC & SM&P in Northwest Indiana puts theirself up on a pedastal. Will not help new locators. Just keep screwing them over. Micro managing piece of c**p. Get a grip.

    I guess i'm confused here i have 18 years in with 5 different companies and have located about every utility at one time or another currently doing a 4 way area. If you don't work for usic how do you know its being micro managed> Newibes have to get out and cut there teeth on something as long as they are doing it right.
