Stupid penalties cost us the game. We did it to ourselves.

Have your fun while you can, cause you gotta play the 49er's next week. Good luck with that. That defense is just a tad better than the bears. Just a tad though.

Last heard 3 games in jeopardy of a black out. Even packer nation, where there is a waiting list for decades for season tickets had 8K tickets still not sold. So much for the frozen tundra being home field advantage. these die hard fans do not want to be cold to watch the packers lose to the 49ers

Cutler re-signs with Bears, will remain with team through 2020

The Chicago Bears announced Thursday that quarterback Jay Cutler will remain with the team through the 2020 season.

The 30-year-old Cutler, whose previous contract expired at the end of this season, signed a seven-year contract which could keep him with the Bears for the rest of his career.

FOX Sports 1 NFL Insider Alex Marvez reports the deal is worth $18 million per year over the first three seasons.

Chicago also announced the re-signing of guard Matt Slauson and cornerback Tim Jennings. Both Slauson and Jennings will remain with the Bears through 2014.

Of course, if this idiot reporter knew how to do math, if it's the 2014 season coming up and he signs a 7 year contract he will be with the Bears through 2021, not 2020.

    I'm glad you say that.

Because you have been wrong on about every prediction you've made in this thread so far.

We just won't know how it's gonna go till game time I'm afraid. I am done trying to make predictions in this sport. -10 @ game time they say.

That's the thing with the Packers. If they can make it into the post-season with home field advantage, they get an automatic extra advantage considering they are the only team used to playing outdoors in the frigid north. Most of the other teams have hardly any experience playing in the elements anymore. The Packers are used to it but if you play indoors on the sunny west coast, Green Bay in January is a rude awakening. Just holding onto the ball when you can't feel your fingers is a trick.
I'm sure there are a bunch of northern locators who, after these last few weeks, would agree. I see lots of incompletes and fumbles in the Niner's future.

.....And I forgot to mention that Lambeau Field is one of the last actual real grass turfs in the NFL. They train on it. Wide receivers and running backs on Astro-turf won't be so sure footed and quick on their feet as they think they will be when they're slogging through the frozen mud with numb toes.......
