On my drive home after a late night of locating in 2015, I was listening to Michael Savage on his late night radio program, The Savage Nation.

Michael said our National Anthem is the dividing factor between liberals and conservatives. To a liberal, the National Anthem is someone's poetic words put to song which every American is forced to sing at school and sports events. The Anthem means nothing to them. To a liberal, the National Anthem is NOT about love of country; love of country to a liberal is social justice.

To a conservative, the National Anthem is deep feelings of pride and love of country; regardless of her failings and problems. The anthem is the reminder of the hard fight our country had in gaining her independence. It is our recognition to those who served and sacrificed, past and present who guarantee our freedom. It signifies the fighting we must continue to keep our freedom from those trying to take it away from us; enemies foreign and domestic.

Ditto Mark. This life long Packers fan doesn't give a flying flip about them this year. I might become a fan of the first team to take a stand against politicizing my Sunday afternoons. Just my luck it'll be the Bears. Oh the horror !!!!!!

From the first time multi-millionaire Colin Kaepernick refused to stand for the National Anthem August 2016, his protest has always been about the disrespect of the American flag and all it represents. Wingfoot suggests our military boycott the NFL by not providing a color guard or a fly-over at any NFL game until an apology is given by the NFL and all its teams...................................... just sayin.'

    _

Chiefs vs. Patriots Week 1 _ Eagles vs. Chiefs Week 2

    _

Chiefs vs. Chargers Week 3 _ Redskins vs. Chiefs Week 4

Wingfoot's Kansas City Chiefs is the only undefeated team remaining after week 4. Las Vegas is finally considering the Chiefs as a Super Bowl contender. After the Chiefs complete the next 4 games will the masses find out if Kansas City's team is the real deal. The next test for the Chiefs will be prime time Sunday night on NBC for a 8:30 pm e.d.t. kickoff! The Powerhouse ranked #1 Chiefs will be at the Powerhouse ranked #13 Houston Texans in J.J. Watt's & red hot rookie QB Deshaun Watson's house. This will be a very good game with the Chiefs favored to win 24 - 20.

#27 KC Chiefs Rookie Running Back Kareem Hunt

After week 4, the Chiefs QB Alex Smith is having his best year ever and is looking almost as good as Aaron Rodgers. It sure would be sweet if we had a Super Bowl 1 repeat for Super Bowl 52. Wingfoot would LUV the SB 1 matchup with a SB 4 result................. just sayin.'

Alex Smith ~ Best Looking QB in the NFL

    #2.) Patriots QB Tom Brady

    #3.) Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill

    Meet Elizabeth Barry Smith,
HOT wife of NFL star Alex Smith.

Alex and Elizabeth got engaged in December 2007. Smith married Liz (Elizabeth) Barry, a former Oakland Raiders cheerleader, in March 2009 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco.

Alex has been in the NFL since 2005. 2017 is the last year of his current contract with the Chiefs. Week 5 of 2017, the Kansas City Chiefs are the only un-defeated NFL team at 5-0 with Alex Smith as QB! The last 31 Chiefs games Alex is 27-4! Tonight Alex won his 9th consecutive road game! Every Chiefs fan this season is on a sugar high because they have never seen Alex perform at this elite level. Everyone is puzzled as to why the sudden improvement.

The April 2017 NFL Draft gave the Chiefs their QB of the future; Patrick Mahomes:

Kansas City Chiefs Rookie QB Patrick Mahomes

Could it be, as paintitnow believes, that the 13 year NFL veteran QB Alex wants to prove to everyone that at 33 yrs old he is as good as the pre-season hype of the rookie gun-slinger Patrick Mahomes?

Could it be Patrick Mahomes taught Alex the art of the deep pass?

Could it be Alex is surrounded by enough young, exciting, talented players to make him out-perform the "old Alex?"

Could it be Alex's work-out where he carried a 75 pound boulder under water and drug a tattered fishnet great distances on the sandy beaches every day during his off-season in Hawaii?

Alex Smith 2017 Off-Season in Hawaii

Could it be the 2-week tutoring Michael Vick gave Alex during the 2017 Chiefs' summer training camp?

Could it be after 4 full seasons being coached by Andy Reid Alex finally "gets it?"

Wingfoot believes this is Alex's last season as a Chief and he is building his résumé. Alex is the real deal this year and Alex's performance will only get better as the season progresses. Even IF Alex goes 19-0, the Chiefs will not re-sign Alex. The Chiefs are going to make Patrick Mahomes their starter QB in 2018. Alex Smith is a stellar football QB that will be leading another team next year.

The only time this year Alex could be matched up as a Chief against the Packers is post-season. Barring any catastrophic injuries, this year is the best chance the Chiefs could make that happen......................... just sayin.'

I believe you're right Wing. After watching the Packers highlights, The Chiefs and the Falcons are looking the best IMHO. Since I have turned my attention elsewhere this year than the NFL, I've noticed Notre Dame just may be a surprise force on Saturday afternoons.

Greetings daman! I agree the Falcons are tough, but the 5 - 1 Philadelphia Eagles are a real load to handle. The Chiefs on week 2 had their hands full all day defeating the Eagles with a 27 - 20 win; the only loss the Eagles have suffered this year. The two Eagle turnovers was the deciding factor on the Chiefs win.

This week the 5 - 0 Chiefs are power ranked #1 (a 4 point favorite vs the 3 - 2 Steelers Sunday @ Arrowhead), the 5 - 1 Eagles power ranked #2 (beat Cam Newton's 4 - 2 Panthers last Thursday night) and your 4 - 1 Packers power ranked #3 (a 4 point favorite vs the 3 - 2 Vikings Sunday @ Minneapolis). The 3 - 2 Patriots are power ranked #8 this week (a 9 point favorite vs the 3 - 2 Jets Sunday @ MetLife Stadium) but are still heavily favored by Vegas to win Super Bowl 52. Go figure......................................

Maybe they'll hire Kapernick. I hear he's been looking for work lately.

You don't suppose the Packer O-line threw the game like the Raiders O-line did during the Raiders vs. Redskins game, do you?

A Raider player was heard sayin,' "If he wants to stand alone during the National Anthem, he can stand alone on the field!"
