Dumbass was caught smoking pot last November while visiting a friend at University of South Carolina. Kind of stupid. I hope he has made enough money up til now. Most of his endorsement deals will be canceled. And he will be banned for the next 2 to 4 years. It will be up to the IOC now!

Very disappointing to find that out, but I don't think anyone is going to come down on USA's golden boy. He's saying the right things thusfar and after laying low for awhile he'll come out just fine. Again, it is disappointing to read that he did that, but I don't think it should taint his accomplishments that he's achieved thusfar in his young career.

Nope it's not a performance enhancer and he wasn't caught using it during competition so the IOC can't touch him. Besides, all they have is a picture of him sucking on a Pipe - that' not proof of anything.

The picture of him huffing on the bong could be used in one of those priceless photos. Could be titled "How to Hose Up Your Life". An article I read stated that they are not drug tested during the month of November which is why he probably thought that he could party at will.

TRUE!!!!!!! Don't know if any would remember, but in the '88 Olympics snowboarder Ross Rebagliati (CA) test positive for THC and was stripped of his gold only to have it awarded back to him when he blamed his "low positive" due to contact not direct exposure from a going away party in his honor. Also argued that it was not on the banned substance (performace enhancing) list. Although; in the snowboarding community he is known as "Dimebagliati". Hmmmmm............wonder why.

Maybe they should have been more proactive. Speedo was required to make the suit available to all swimmers at the Olympics. And they did. If they were unable to wear it because they wen with TYR, it is their own problem.

Speedo LZR suits are not cheap. Bodyskin= $845, Kneeskin= $545, Legskin=$345, Jammer= $245. But from what I hear FINA is going to outlaw the suit from international competition. As long as my son is swimming he will have to buy his own LAZER suits.

By the way Wing that picture of Phelps in the Speedo is a fake. That same picture of the real suit is in the swimwear catalogs my son gets 3 times a month!
