Coach....... You're Fired!

NFL Fans Shout, "Fire This Asshole!"

Is there anything more exciting than a pro football head coach losing his job? Here is my list of NFL coaches who will almost certainly get fired at year's end or sooner.

Coaches on the chopping block (or should be):

Tom Cable - Oakland Raiders

Jim Zorn - Washington Redskins

Eric Mangini - Cleveland Browns

Jeff Fisher - Tennessee Titans

Wade Phillips - Dallas Cowboys

Dick Jauron - Buffalo Bills

Gary Kubiak - Houston Texans

Jack Del Rio - Jacksonville Jaguars

Todd Haley - Kansas City Chiefs

John Fox - Carolina Panthers

Norv Turner - San Diego Chargers

Mike McCarthy - Green Bay Packers

Jim Mora - Seattle Seahawks

no way all those coaches are getting fired,,like fisher has been good all those years til this 1 year,,and maybe acouple more could stay ,but about half listed should be assistant coaches ?

Realistically, all these fellas getting fired this year may not happen. Still, I can see it happening. The list is of head coaches living on the razor's edge of loosing their job and it wouldn't take much to get chopped.

A good example - Washington Redskins Jim Zorn - Started the year 3 - 0. Then handed the Titans and Detroit their only wins thus far this year. If the 'Skins drop another loss to the 0 - 5 Chiefs this coming weekend, Zorn won't make it past their upcoming bye week. If the 'Skins win over the Chiefs this Sunday at FEDEX Field, Zorn will at least have a job to week 17.......

Zorn will be gone by week 10. Cable by week 12. Jauron by week 13.
I'd be almost shocked to see Fisher gone.
Other than that. I don't see much happening after that.

20 January 2010 - Wade Phillips will return as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys for the 2010 season according to team owner Jerry Jones.

"I guess. You know ... whatever," said Jones. "I can't really think of a lot of better options. So ... sure. It's Wade's job still. Just please stop asking me about it."

Reports have also surfaced that the Cowboys may sign Phillips to an extension. Terms have not been disclosed but are said to be in the ballpark of "a fair wage. Show up to work every day and will compensate you, alright? Let's just get this over with and go on with the rest of our days. There are no winners here."

All Wingfoot can say is, "WoW!"

"Wade Phillips' job is safe right now. I think it would be funnier to fire him at Christmas."

33 wins and 15 losses over 3 years. If Wade can learn to win more playoffs he stays. Actually, he just signed a 2 yr deal, but he had better "improve" on this year . Jerry Jones said he was pleased but not satisfied.
By the way, I bet Brett Favre wishes he hadn't wasted that last touchdown pass on Dallas - Karma is a Bitch!
