Do I really need to say anyting on this subject?????![]()
TO FORGIVE IS DIVINE BUT TOO FORGET IS STUPID
Well, lets see.... In the last 30 days
1) My 82 year old mother fell on a cracked and broken up sidewalk entrance to a local restaurant and broke her hip. She has been in the hospital since.
2) My 82 year old step father had a heart attack and passed away a week after my mothers fall.
3) Because they are old school and everything is in his name the landlord said mom could not return to the apartment except for a few change of clothes until everything is settled. My step father died without a will, sooooo that complicates things.
4) Mom cannot access the bank accounts in his name.
5) One of our best friends had a stroke 10 days ago, went into a coma and passed away the next day.
6) All the while, I am trying to get my job done and be with friends and family alike, kinda tough when you work long days.
SCAP, you are dead ass right when you say tragedy shapes strength!

sorry to hear about all that, especially at once. Real sorry, I've been talking to you on here for over a damn year now and I just wanna let you know that I know what it's like to have to deal with old people. After my pawpaw passed, my nanny (Grandma) has alzheimers....So this means my mom and dad taking care of her for half the week, my moms sister doing it the other half...So I know what it's like dealing with things like this. And I'm not the type to put my folks in a home, so it's just a minor taste of what I'll be dealing with come 20-30 years from now.
Much respect on the days that you bust ass!

The fallen grandfather you speak of
I'm sure he raised a proper family, otherwise where would you have come from, one of the most proper folks on the site.
