The new members names are getting longer and longer.

Just a few examples!!

The names are mostly from spammers. i think they are generated with a program that spams forums.

Is there any way we could collectively hit them back? Like give out their e-mail addresses to some Spam List?

Retaliation.......sounds good, but that is their whole point, spreading that information around.

Most of the e-mails come from gmail.com or x-mail.com or hotmail or yahoo or whatever. I just deleted 75 of them and that is after I have a block on certain e-mail addresses. an example would be lsdidh@gmail.org. Now you know nobody uses that for themselves.

No sense in trying to retaliate against a few spammers when a single spammer might have a hundred or so e-mail accounts.

How do I know all of this? I used to do it. I don't anymore. haven't for a few years. I made some money at it but I just didn't have the motivation to keep it up. it is A LOT of work. My locating job is easier than online marketing or spamming.

You start a website like http://www.ampgenerators.com (which is a website of mine). Then, you hit any site you can that will allow you to post anything to it. Forums, guest boards, link directories etc... and get your website on their. The search engines see your site out there multiple times and consider it to have some importance. So when someone searches for generators they will see my site and hopefully go to it to buy something.

Here is an example. This person "KurtisRR" has tried to get on my forum. I will delete him of course. I can do it with confidence knowing he is a real spammer because I go to google and google that username:

Results 1 - 10 of about 7,030 for KurtisRR

Here is why I don't allow spamming to my site. If I link to a site that gets banned by the search engines my site will be penalized by the search engines. This is their way of combating spammy sites. That is why I don't allow that kind of spamming on my site.

Note: I haven't done anything with that site for a looooooooooooong time. The links probably don't work anymore. It is just there collecting dust.

I've been involved with the internet doing affiliate marketing for quite a while. There is a lot to learn and like anything it is constantly changing and getting more complex.
