    Default New to the Forum

Hello everybody> I am somewhat new to locating, I have been doing it now for 8 months and a friend referred me to this forum For anonymity reasons I will keep most personal info out, but I do work for USIC. The name is Breaker because it seems that everything I touch breaks, but very little seems to get cut...

Welcome Breaker. I worked some weekends in Okieland last year. Don't really like those '0 lot lines' much. By the way "Hook 'Em Horns"

So which piece of equipment is used most in USIC? RD, Raicom, or what. I do know of one guy who has a pipeliner. I personally use the RD 4000, but have a 400 receiver due to an u/l f/o here that was marked with electronic markers. I have held a Raicom and I like the volume on it much better, but have gotten use to the 4000. As I have stated in another post though, I have used the 8000 and found it to be the best so far from what i have seen and done with it.

Wow! You got to use an 8000? My Boss let me touch his 8000 once - closest I have gotten to one. Seriously. I have used an RD 400 for over 10 yrs now, wouldn't know how to act with new equipment. I like to think that with all used equipment all of the 'at-fault damages' have been used up!
