    Question new to this

    I am extremly new to this and I find it very interesting!!! Im not sure how this works but it seems like a really fun place to let off some steam. I have read alot of posts already and I see 3 types of members.

    1. Obvious upper level management (quoting manuals, saying nothing but corperatly correct things, and disagreeing with all unorthodox locating methods)

    2. Locators - Some disgruntal, some content with their position, and some extremly dedicated to their profession.

    3. The silent ones,(probably someone trying to figure out who's who, so they can use it as ammunition in the future).


    I am a Locator and have been for some time now, As all the real locators have I have used unorthodixed methods to locate a utility and I have also been extremly angry at my profession, But I have grown alot over the years and the one thing ive learned about this thankless job is no matter what you do on a daily basis there is always gonna be someone who wants more!!!!!!!
