    Smile Howdy

I've been reading the Vine since Dec, just trying to get a feel for it and I must say there is a great cross section of people and companies here. i don't get on the puter too often so you won't hear alot from me but I'm pretty sure I can take somethin' away from it and hopefully give some back. Some of these guys crack me up. Oh yea almost forgot, I work for the big cheese - USIC and damn glad to be workin'.

Welcome man, I gotta say I love the Nick! "dirt fisher" indeed LOL!
Character is what you are in the dark. It is the things you do, when nobody can see, and nobody will ever know, that define who you are as an individual.

RD, Before I started locating I got into metal detecting as a hobby, finding junk metal a few inches underground. After a couple years I honed my skills and started popping 100-150 year old coins out of the ground and all kinds of gold and junk jewelery. After I got into locating it dawned on me that I'm gettin' a regular wage for for what I did as a hobby - but with all the BS it's more like work now. On my off-time I metal detect to relax...In case anyones curious, I don't find enough to quit my day job.
