Glad I'm here

Hey everyone! Been locating a year in North Texas, don't love it, don't hate it...some days are good, some days are bad...but that's the name of the game, right?

I'm currently covering about a 15 sq mile congested area doing 4-way locates...tons of fiber and other fun stuff. Went damage free for 10.5 months and slipped up, missed a 2" poly gas service...oops.

Anyways, I look forward to being here!

I have a question for a TX worker.. do you guys get to wear those cowboy hat shaped hardhats ?

Oh I wish we did! Regular plain white hardhats for us though, don't even get a company logo.

The company I used to work for would "aquire" hard hats by keeping the loaner hats when he would visit construction sites...... come to think about it, thats how he got the safety vests and glasses as well.....

Thanks everyone. It's been a rough week...damages left and right (marked accurately of course, 3 gas damages, 2 phone, and 2 cable), 3 and 4 hour locates, sitting on about 50 late tickets, working with an injured wrist...man oh man.

Glad it's the weekend...after I work tomorrow that is.
