Default Alberta Locator New to Forum

    hello all,

I stumbled upon this forum while browsing for locating-related info. I started as a locator in September last year, so I am relatively new. I work out of Southern Alberta. Things are pretty slow right now, so I hope to learn from some of the more experienced locators here.

AlbertaCowboy - Welcome Aboard! I've been a locator 11+ years. The first 6 months of locating was the toughest for me. The next 6 months got a little bit easier. After a couple years of learning something new every day, I found out how to make this line of work very enjoyable. Today, I can't imagine doing anything but swinging a receiver. Anyway, please post often.

I've worked with some awesome cowboys from Canada. Before I settled down and had to get a real job, I worked all across the country as a wondering cowboy/wrangler. Most from the white North were tough as they come.

They just had this annoying habit of calling their ham, BACON!
