    Getting this message under AVG Resident shield protection


    Threat Detected!

    File name: stayfriends-de.sfr.fr.uol-com-br.mydirectoutlet.ru:8080/met-art.com/met-art.com/guardian.co.uk/abcnews.go.com/google.com.php

    Threat name: Exploit Link to known exploit site (type 750)


    Anyone else getting this before I go diving into my system for virus/spyware issue. Im only getting the message when I come to the vine so its isolated to this webpage just not sure if FireFox got caught a bug or what.

    I just got hit up too when I opened the vine. It says it blocked like 8 times.

    I don't see anything. I will let my ISP know what is going on... maybe there is a virus on the server.

    I got a reply back. I will check into it first chance I get tomorrow.
    Steven,I am looking into this. I'm not seeing the exploit when I visit the website. Is this on the front page or within the forum? Additionally, what software are you using on the site (such as forum, CMS, etc). Usually when stuff like this happens its because of an exploit within the software being used on a particular site. Whichever you are using, make sure all of your software and programs are up to date. I'm looking at VBulletin and seeing others post in their forums about an exploit that has come up (cross site scripting). It would be a good place to start in finding what was vulnerable:
    "Change does not always equal progress."

    I am getting it too, probably from site ads that are being blocked by AVG.
