There is another concern..... I don't see one posting that offers $26.00 an hour with 4 weeks paid vacation days ontop of 2 weeks of sick days with Public retirement system with little supervision and little responsibility. Where in the world are these jobs Steve? I'm holding you personally responsible for the lack of these jobs and hope you rectify this in the near future.
(all satire is intended)
Mke
In Wisconsin or IL that might be a teacher, plus get your health benefits paid by the tax payers. In Wisconsin the teachers union has it own health care system
I have just moved to Nebraska/Iowa border area. I am looking for all locating companies and have found CUS and Stakecenter only. Are there any other ones out here?
USIC brought both companys out. ELM (North Dakota) and Consolidated (Wisconsin).
Unions have there good points and there bad. one of the best points is that they help keeps companies from crapping on you so bad . help make companies treat you like people and not like a dog in the street to kick any time they feel like it.
spoken like a true company man
Just received brochure from local union office,Funny you should mention that. They are out their trying.
Can anyone tell me how much locators start out at in Oklahoma?
What company, I've seen $9-$12/Hr. DOE
Good luck getting anything higher than $12-$14/hr. It's definitely an employers' market!
Yeah, and good luck getting anything over that after being there for a few years.
Unibar is in Iowa now. they have the windstream contract. They did not have presence there before. someone else posted something about unibar starting experienced locators at $14 an hour. they tried that in Iowa and most of the usic locators balked at that. I am hearing that they are asking people what they made at the current job and matching it. They need to fill a whole state and expect guys to handle like 5 counties in the beginning and were expecting one to get 3 tickets done an hour lol.
There is a webite "indeed.com" and it compares jobs in your state. It had unibar's annual wage like $44K while companies like vannguard and usic at like $26-29K. Is unibar union? i think these are based on a 40 hr work week.
UNIBAR LOST the Windstream contract 2 weeks before they were supposed to start. USIC picked it up
I would rather get a job right now with usic if they were in my area here in delaware
Do to the piss poor management they have and as always the kiss ass employees, but I have
No place else to work at but here cause here in delaware is a no place job unless you really kiss ass
And I for one am no kiss ass like a R** R****!!!! Who was demoted do to sexual harassment but still has a job,
And other reasons which supervisors do not know about. Would you the people allow this if you had a company?
Just taking a poll.
