It only took about 2 minutes on friday to realize that I have been running around with my head up and locked ,I had an encounter with another locator who very quickly explained the error of ways ,in my tiff with ELM ,I would like to openly apologize to 50/60,Jared ,for my disrespect to them and the rest of ELM locators my posts may have offended,I have always maintained they have some excellent people working for them ,with some exceptions ,exceptions are part of doing business,in my rush to be a bitter a--hole I seemed to have forgotten that,for the most part the ones I have met have been very good locators very professional ,met two in Utah last week,good folks ,My post about ELM in Oregon was completely out of line ,hell in today's economy anybody getting new contracts should be congratulated ,Congrats, ELM on your Oregon Contract I hope you have much success there,I was talking in the dark about what or who you may have replaced ,and that was wrong in every sense of the word ,as of this my Elm Posts will cease and I try my best to earn back the respect of those I have disrespected I cover a large area on paper but small in the world of locating ,no doubt, I will stick to my area of locating and focus on my business instead of what may be going on elsewhere,it is a bad feeling when you realize that you have trashed you ethics and values you stand by by re-reading my posts on the vine I came to realize this and after friday I am sure of it ,I am deeply sorry for my unprofessional comments towards Elm I can assure that it ends today.

Sh*t happens Swag, probably won't be your last post that you rethink after a couple days. I know I have had a few. Anybody who doesn't accept your very sincere apology isn't worth apologizing to in the first place.

Yeah.... Well douchebag Millen is on Monday Night Football. How the hell can anyone listen to what that asshole says. He drove our team in the ground. I think it is generally accepted that when you are talking about a company as a whole you are referring to their management practices and not about the individual locators themselves.

I don't see how a locator in the field could take that personally. There are many companies out there that suck (not specifically locating companies but all sorts of companies) who have wonderful employees. I know, I've worked for them.

In addition, in every company there are a-holes. I think that is generally accepted too.

I think Swag was referring to the just a few individuals and their practices and not every employee in the company. To think that would be stretching it a little.

After some thought, I've deleted the offending thread. I think everyone who is going to read it has and if anyone has missed it, doesn't need to read it or didn't care enough to read it in the first place.
