i heard even an email went out for referrals. If you refer some one that is experienced you can get up to a $2500 bonus based on that person's experience

Hey JayC . Maybe instead of sitting idle waiting on marks you could apply for a job and help them get caught up.

Man, fvck those guys. Except for like 2 locators I know, fvck the rest of them in the Chicago area. I don't care if you're understaffed, get to my locate tickets on time. It's the law.

And anyone on here that wants to give me the USIC party lines, kiss my ass.

I'll give you damn staffing issues, "We pay our guys low, we overwork them, and we can't do anything about it because we underbid contracts. They get tired of working so much for so little pay that they quit, which is why we have the staffing issues. But we're spending money on putting GPS locators and audio/video devices in the trucks so we can monitor them at all times."

Some fvcking blowhard told me the other day that the minimum they start those guys is $14/hr. I've spoken to locators in the field that are paid $10-$11/hr and met one guy who was retired and doing this just to keep busy that he topped out at $14/hr and won't make anything else past that.

That's what happens when you try to be the monopoly, bid low, under pay. Maybe instead of worrying about gobbling up every dang contract they get the preexisting ones under control.

Here its 13 an hour. I made 14.25 in three years and only a phone drop cut. They used the drop and my on time percent as reason for not giving me a raise. The on time percent had nothing to do with my work abilitie. It had to do with the fact I had 100 4-6 way locates on my board daily.
