    Default Time to leave usic

Well it's come time to leave usic, I am not leaving the locating business just usic, I have deiced to be a sub contractor for a different company and this should be ( I hope a good adventure). I do have one thing to say the people I worked with at usic ( the techs and my sup.) were great. They just have to many chiefs and not enough Indians if you know what I mean.

I might not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was !

Good luck with your new adventure.

It is amazing when you think how many chiefs these big contract locating firms have that they can make any money at all. I wonder what the ratio is between revenue producing and non-revenue producing employees is. I'd be willing to bet it is close to 50/50.

"The grass is greener on the other side" probably not. Hope your new adventure is a good decision. I would love to go to work for USIC, in an administrative position, if they would ever come to South Dakota. I could never be a locator, like so many others, I tried it once, just to be able to understand the process, as I was in an administrative position, but never trusted myself, and way toooooo many bad hair days.
