SiteWise stealing from the locators!

Just a short rant, and then I will go away to my new career! Please beware of this company and it’s deceitful ##### management.

After locating for half the year, I finally couldn't handle SiteWise stealing money from me. Every week they would take money from my paycheck and kid's mouth. If you don’t produce 3 tickets an hour they deducted up to 10% of my wage weekly! I knew locators who were getting hit with as much as 70-100 bucks a week. There was no explanation of why they would take the money, or system to the madness and when I asked Scott and Larry -the management- they would just lie to me like car salesmen about the whole thing.

What I want to know is how could they legally do this?

Even if you could do the jobs right, it was a joke to do 3 tickets an hour without taking short cuts. Stealing from the locators has killed all care!

NOW I have no ##### job

And when Xcel wakes up from it's wreckless coma and fires SiteWise for all the damages it will be too late! SO ###### PISSED!

Thank you for the fore warning!Maybe you should call the labor board in your area they will fix their wagon real good.

you need a couple of a calls.... Labor and Industries..(may go by different names depending on state) and a call to the PUC (Public Utilities Commission...again may go by different name) With 6months you may not be able to get unemployment, but you might be able to get the ball rolling on a wage claim.

The PUC call is dealing with complaints about their less then standard locate practices.

However, these are two heavy calls and will (if well founded) lead to investigations...which means into your background as well.

One of the locators filed a complaint with the Colorado labor board, somehow they found it to be legal.

When I tell people about this they think I am crazy.

Legal or not it just shows how the company and management are lying thiefs. Like I said it will only take a while for Xcel to wake up and fire them! Hoping for a new company that cares to come in and take over the work!

I have been locating for a while and never seen anything like this. The locators from the other locate companies will not even think about coming over. Many have left SiteWise because they steal from your paycheck!

That's too much pressure. Have you considered to work for a geophysical consulting company? They need utility locators, too.

I got offered a job with one of those outfits, but they wanted me to travel a lot. Doesn't work well for for a guy with a family. Money they offerred was pretty good if memory serves me.

Dear Miss Fire,
it sounds to me like you just couldnt do your job properly . i dont work for site wise but I have some really good friends that do and none of them have issues with their pay, and further more where i work i have an average ticket per hour count of 4.85 tickets an hour and i dont pull any short cuts and i have 0 atfaults year to date . i guess bottom line its best that you quit or got fired or what ever happend to you because you where just another hack locator that sucked at their job and thought they could walk on water and sunk in the process.

Headhunter, your post just shows how big a #### moron you are. 4.8 tickets an hour? Reminds me of the Clueless management at SITEWISE! NOT A #### CLUE! I didn't get fired, but I know you aka SITEWISE is close to being FIRED! DAMN CAR SALESMEN!

Locate companies should lining up to take your work away soon!
