You have to call a spade a spade...and in 2009.....there are a lot of SPADES!

Locating has been watered down so much by non paying utilities......

    SIC,

I do not remember such a time, since you were here before me.

Now management from the dictatorships we "work" for are one here trying to watch what we are saying about them.....those wusses...

When I first became "awakened" that bureaucratic corruption, lying, cheating, greed, brainwashing, revision of accurate history, attacks on "whistleblowers," voting on legislation never read, mischief and acts of treason is the norm in politics and the harm intended to the American freedoms is deliberate and calculated by the very few that have the real power, I wanted to share everything I knew with everyone I met and with whom I worked. It took the loss of 2 pretty good jobs and the alienation of half my relatives to realize 99+% of Americans don't give a shit about politics. They don't care what's coming our way but most just "can't handle the TRUTH." These poor souls have had the "Big Lie" taught to them by their parents, grandparents and others with influence for so long that the 'TRUTH" is what's foreign to them! It's the same everywhere, even here on theVine.

I have long overcome the name calling and labels given to me over the years for what I know as political truth. Through experience, I realize most Americans are delusional about political practice and the more effort I expend to share with them political "TRUTH," the more antagonistic (hostile) they become. Today, I'll throw out a morsel of truth to a stranger and then, judging by their reaction, I can tell if they are already "awakened," maybe curious for the real truth or, like most, expect the truth to be doled out by the newsreaders of government-controlled, corporate-owned NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, FOXNews, CNN, MSNBC and articles in Time, Newsweek, The Washington Times, The New York Post or The Los Angeles Times. With the hostiles, I've learned to just smile and move forward.

Matthew 7:6 says it best for me, "Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you."

Yeah , I figure such SMBK.... And it really does nt matter to me...If I dont defame anyone directly oh well... I state views which I sometimes dont even validate, just to satisfy a demented humor, or lack of... You know 25% into the 401k also defers being more constructive... So whats the old saying- "enjoy what you do best"....Saving money and stirring people up... I m pretty damn good at it...EEhhh???

This whole thread was misinterpreted though... It was meant as a facetious topic or take-off from- "remember when locating was fun" -or what I was inferring was- Remember when the Vine was fun without my incessant bickering with everyone over politics or other issues ...

Aaahh... whatever... I guess I give myself to much credit for trashing the site with out of favor issues...

I think I'll quote my Paleo professor, that spoke to the students who exhibited outrage about the information in the course for it's threat to their long-held and cherished religious beliefs and argued the information couldn't be "TRUE"...

"Here in this classroom we deal in FACTS. If you want TRUTH, the Philosophy & Theology departments are down the hall."

Not that I disagree with you, but TRUTH is interpreted by individual perception. Not by researched information.
Character is what you are in the dark. It is the things you do, when nobody can see, and nobody will ever know, that define who you are as an individual.

"Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have ... The course of history shows that as a government grows, liberty decreases." — Thomas Jefferson

...And how many of the students in that class thought the prof was full of it after that comment. Then again, 18 - 21 year olds know everything, and THATS a FACT.
