Just got this email last week annoucing the event. Some of you may already know, but I thought this is pretty cool and wanted to get the word out. I don't read it as Paul himself is going to unveil it, but it's still going to be interesting to see......

One Call Concepts, Inc. (OCC) is pleased to announce that it has commissioned Paul Jr. Designs to create the 811 Bike. Paul Jr. has created some of the most recognizable themed choppers in the world.

The Paul Jr. Designs team will unveil the 811 Bike for the first time at the 2011 Greater Chesapeake Damage Prevention Training Conference in Ocean City.

Darn, during the days I am working.

That's a nice hotel and I have stayed there on business before.
It has an indoor pool so you can swim there come November. If you look at the photos the left side of the building is flanked by some rooms. These are called the 'cabana" rooms and their front doors do not open to a hallway, they open to the indoor pool. These rooms are two stories, a loft accessed via a spiral staircase. Bathrooms on both levels but there is a shower only in the one on the top lever. These rooms are 'ocean view' except for the one on the at the beach side, it has windows look directly onto the beach. From most of these rooms you have to hang out the window to get a view. I stayed in the cabana room next to the oceanfront one, nice.

The other side of the pool is flanked by the hotel bar. Used to be at happy hour they featured make your own 5 cent tacos. The ingredients were all good but the taco sauce was really poor. So stock up on taco bell taco sauce packets or bring your own bottle in. (I think they use such a bad tasting sauce to keep sales down. This is a sell for less than cost item to get people into the bar. I had littered my space at the bar with about a dozen empty taco bell packets)

I have eaten breakfast in the hotel restaurant and that meal there is mediocre. For breakfast go 5 blocks north on the opposite side of the street to the Comfort Inn, there is a Denny's attached to this building. Much better breakfast and the prices were better.

That bike is nice, but it really has nothing to do with 811 except the paint job. Might as well have thrown 811 on a Harley and called it a day.

Paul Jr (Paulie) and Rachael are a good looking couple and all, but I see Rachael as a fragile, fine tuned Swiss watch (not one with an illuminated dial - I don't think Rachael's very bright) and I see Paulie as a 10-pound sledge hammer............... I've seen Paulie mix it up verbally with Paul Sr - many times very close to fist-to-cuffs! I can see a time in the future when Paulie burns all the new off Rachael, infidelity will rear it's ugly head.........

Although I will give Paulie credit, he did learn a lesson from Tiger Woods:

Statistically it was doomed before it began. You are right. I guess the funny part is how you point it out as if it is just common knowledge.
