    Default Nipsco

    Is it true that USIC got the contract back for all of NIPSCO? I heard this today but thought that they just lost it last summer.

    Just a quick tidbit.... In 2009, OneVision took over locates for NIPSCO. In 2010, it was determined that a more "Damage Prevention" responsive idea would be to have two seperate areas for better coverage and response time. SM&P was asked to come back into one of the areas.

    As for the "rumor" that USIC has the entire area back, it is a "rumor" only. It sounds as though NIPSCO is happy with the current arrangement and from the field, it sounds as though it is working.
