This contest is a posting contest. I, as I did last time, have tallied all the posts up to this point. So, starting from this moment until 12:00 noon mountain time on june 22nd thecablevine.com will be having a posting contest. The person with the most posts in this time period will win.

Prizes are as follows:

1st place: $50
2nd place: $25
3rd place: A TheCablevine.com T-shirt.

I just assumed that everyone knows the rules... but there are some rules in this contest. 'Me too' posts do not count. What is a me too post? That is where you reply with to a post with just a "me too" or "I hear ya" or "ditto" or whatever. Posts must have something to add to the discussion.

Thats kinda a lot of work. I can't just pull up the numbers. I have to close the board, print out the existing post count and then do the math on each member. Next weekend I'll do it. Please remind me with a PM.

Steve, why don't you just post our #'s that we started with, if possible, and we can do the calculations ourselves?

I agree with Spray. We do not want add anything to make it more difficult. If you can put up the beginning #'s then we can figure out the numbers.

I don't know about everyone else but we're still in peak dig season here. It's a little hard to find time to post when you're work 65-70 hours a week.

We just need someone to get the party started.

How is that a win-fall (wind fall) profit? The saying wind fall tax comes from earlier times when a persons taxes were determined by how many trees they had on their land. It was illegal to cut down the trees which would reduce your taxes. The only way to reduce the number of trees on your land was to do nothing and let mother nature take care of it. Thus the term Wind Fall... as in a big wind came through and fell a few trees. So a wind fall profit is not really a profit at all but a reduction in taxes. Only the government could call it a profit with a straight face.
