    Default My Christmas present

call-out at 4:30 this morning .....heard something about 5 broke poles and accepted the call ! When I jumped on my computer found out it was not even my area but the next major city over ! the good thing was all the poles were on the opposite side of the rd of the phone cable .....

I was also on call Christmas Day. I spent the entire day with friends and close relatives. My greatest present was I had no calls!

The temperature has been steadily dropping here for the past few days. Wednesday morning the wind chill factor here was -7 degrees! With the heater set on "Kill," I cooked my frozen water-based paint on the floorboard of my work truck all day but the paint refused to flow out of the nozzles like they should until almost noon. The winter-blend solvent-based paint will probably be here in March or April... just sayin'.

I had five water main breaks Wednesday in my area due to the cold snap. I think the temperature is suppose to rise here by this weekend. We shall see.

Sounds rough. That winter paint will come in handy in March. Just sayin.

My paint is coming out in blotches. every inch or so will be this little blotch of paint so it looks like I have about 20 little dots of paint to make up the line. It has never happened before so it is probably a newer formula. Usually when it gets cold the paint comes out like a string. Things that make you go Hmmmmm.
