Most on-call hours in a week

What's the most busy on-call you have ever had?

How many on-call hours did you log?

What time of year?

I'm on call again... already had 2 main breaks... maybe this week will be money, we'll see.

The most just on-call hours i've logged so far has been 39 hours in December of '08.

Dec. 23rd-30th, 2005.

Logged 43.5 hours including weekend and holiday calls.

The night of Dec. 25th (10 below) there were 27 water main breaks in the metro areas. It got to the point that I was getting the information from the municipal guys and locating a break an hour before I ever even got the page.

Damn what a week. Good bank though!

Up here on an occasional basis locators will have their 40 hours in before the beginning of the day Monday (then you sit the rest of the week). Years ago, there was a locator that had 112 hours (I believe there were almost 250 wmb's in the city of Detroit that week).

down this way it is about 10 hours max for any one person and usually during the summer is when we have all our water breaks......

46 hours straight over a Memorial Weekend back in 1994. Tornado or Microburst depending on who you talk too. I think I slept for a couple of days after!!!
