    Default Metrotech Repairs

Hey guys, we're trying to get the word out as one of the last repair shops that can still calibrate and repair the original Metrotech 810, 850, and 9800 series utility locators. We're factory authorized to work on the entire Metrotech and Vivax product line and all Radiodetection equipment, but we can also repair and calibrate Dynatel, Subsite, Goldak, Schonstedt, Rycom - pretty much any underground locator. The factory stopped supporting the old 810, 850, 9800 a couple years ago and we find a lot of people who want to keep that stuff going as long as possible. We wanted to make sure the guys here knew about us.

I've been looking through some old threads here, wish we'd joined this forum years ago. Lot of bummed out locators when Metrotech stopped supporting the 810 and 850. We have a ton of parts for these and original calibration rigs so we can keep them going for several more years at least.

I was told by a the Metrotech company man that the model was discontinued because they a new machine that was cheaper to manufacture. Then charge a higher price for even more profits.
