Don't forget the part where the contractor who called it in doesn't respond when you call and when you get on site you find it's a fence install scheduled for the next morning.
I've yet to hear anyone properly define an emergency fence install.

When you get an emergency locate for a water service repair at 2AM and the plumber does not answer the contact phone number. Then at 3AM the homeowners ask what you are doing in their yard because the work is not scheduled till noon.

love those emergency tree planting and fence installs. Then there are those new home construction and you show up a day before the ticket is do to find that they have already dug the foundation. Get half the ticket down by time a contractor calls you back and find out that it is a survey or planning ticket or the job is not for over a week away.

My personal favorite was insane size areas for emergency locates. Ever get an emergency locate that was 200 miles away? Driving through that much rural area was like living in a nature documentary. You can almost forget that you are driving to a locate.
