That absolutely made no freakin sense what so ever!!!!
I told you I'm not going to criticize my successor. I'll just tell you that there are people at Gitmo that will kill American people at a drop of a hat and I don't believe that persuasion isn't going to work. Therapy isn't going to cause terrorists to change their mind.

No water and sewer implies that you are on a private septic and well (as am I).. but I dunno how you get by with $60/mo electric. imho, we dont waste electric, but still use about 1200 kwh/mo. That sets me back about $150.

Dont forget though.. the 'no water and sewer' charges also means you are responsible for your well and field. They dont last forever.. the pump needs to be swapped out at some point, and the field should be good for 30 yrs. Well pumps are cheap, but you really need to take care of a field. Rebuild can be around $3000.
(May you live in interesting times)

    hmmmmm....

doesn't make sense but if it makes you feel better talking about how "great" your life is....more power to you USIC.

I hate to tell you, 457 wouldn't even get you out of the Ghetto where i'm at. you are still ghettofied till you reach the 650 range then you are in a mediocre neighbor hood where you still have to chain up your bar-B-Q grill to your porch so the tweakers don't take it. but at least you don't have to spend most of the weekend buffing out the graffiti on the side of your car. If you spend around 1000 a month you could rent a house in a pretty good neighborhood and you would only have to worry about soccer moms not watching their pre-teens close enough or the occasional random Tweaker.

Careful there USIC1, hundreds of thousands of people were displaced, tens of thousands lost everything and are still suffering today. Do you really want to answer to God one day for your thoughtless remarks today? You like to push the envelope and I sort of understand that, but there is a line my friend.......
Job Applicant: What does this job pay?
Employer: I'm going to pay you just what you are worth!
Job Applicant: I don't think I can work for that......

This is my house and my neighbors after the storm.......

I was in the house when the water came up. The first pic was all of my possessions floating in the den. Look closely at the 2nd pic and you can see the tailgate of my jacked-up Avalanche after the water had dropped about two feet. The last pic was a club/restaurant that was blown completely out by the wave of water that came from the Gulf through the Bay of St. Louis. I was almost 8 miles from the Gulf of Mexico and about a mile from the Bay. Many more had it much worse than me.....

How do you joke about that?

Hey, I know yahoo is from somewhere down there, and he was throwing out not needing to be insured(HUMOROUSLY WAS MY INTERPRETATION), so I related not being in need of insurance to the old stereotype of the movies depicting old shacks out in the swamps and figured if someone doesnt carry insurance they must not have all that much to lose...

Most of those televised that lost everything in those ghetto zones were noted for not carrying insurance...Most likely these homeowners figured theyd take there chances since the value of the homes were relatively not that big a loss anyway...

I m not trying to be uncompassionate of the people that lost and suffered all there valuables...

If anyone had a reasonable investment they should have carried the appropriate insurance relative to the risk of the region... Nobody twisted arms to not use some sense...

Sorry for your loss but it wasnt really the point I was punning about...
